XS-1 Oman – Installed in 2019
Water Processing Plant – Heavy Steam Petroleum System (HOSS)
HOSS is used to process production water supplied from the field to water reservoirs. The XS-1 is used to measure the oil concentration in pre-feed water so that appropriate processing settings can be applied. Without accurate understanding of oil concentration, processing cannot be optimized, which is why the XS-1 performs a key function. Ultrasonic cleaning is essential to such an operation to ensure accurate measurements regardless of process conditions.
